The low-E coating is a Triple-Silver MSVD design, which provides high visible light transmittance (VTL) while maintaining low reflectance. The U-Value of this window is 0.265, and it has a visible light transmittance (VLT) of approximately 61%. The low-E glass effectively reduces condensation on the window and minimizes the amount of harmful ultraviolet and infrared light that can cause materials in the home to fade. By incorporating the low-E glass coating, the window can also help to reduce the costs associated with heating, lighting, and cooling the building.
The frame of the window is constructed from maintenance-free vinyl (PVC), which will not wrap, peel, or corrode, eliminating the need for painting. This is a non-opening window, and a signature is required upon delivery.
